Polish Sauerkraut and Sausage Recipe
2 lb sauerkraut
1 lb sausage(cut into serving pieces)
11/2 t instant minced onion
1/2 t black pepper
few peppercorns
1/2 c brown sugar
1 small can mushroom pieces - drained
1 t. caraway seed
Drain sauerkraut, combine with remaining ingredients. Bake in a buttered 2 qt. casserole at 350for 1-1/2 hrs. Toss lightly with a fork a couple of times while baking.
